Many people when they buy a secondhand phone don’t know that it can have a google account or FRP.
The factory reset from Recovery mode gets the phone locked and it starts asking for the google account, and you can’t do much after this.
However, there are two ways from the phone settings and from Download Mode to check if your device has FRP on so you can prevent blocking your device
- Press VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER BUTTON
- Press VOLUME UP
- You’ll see as in the following picture FRP LOCK: ON or OFF
